1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Cleaniche website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Eligibility

To use our services, you must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding agreement. You represent and warrant that you have the legal authority to enter into this agreement.

3. Service Description

Cleaniche provides a platform connecting users with professional cleaning custodians. We facilitate the booking and payment for cleaning services but are not responsible for the actual cleaning work performed by independent custodians.

4. User Responsibilities

As a user, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
• Grant the cleaning custodian access to your property at the scheduled time
• Provide clear instructions about special cleaning requirements
• Promptly report any issues or concerns with the service
• Pay all applicable fees in a timely manner
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

5. Cleaning Custodian Responsibilities

Our custodians agree to:

• Arrive on time or provide advance notice of delays
• Perform cleaning services according to agreed specifications
• Treat your property with respect and care
• Maintain professional conduct at all times
• Report any damage or issues immediately
• Respect your privacy and property

6. Booking & Cancellation Policy

6.1 Booking

Booking through Cleaniche constitutes a request for cleaning services. We will confirm your booking via email once a custodian is assigned.

6.2 User Cancellations

Users may cancel bookings up to 24 hours before the scheduled service without penalty. Cancellations within 24 hours may result in a cancellation fee.

6.3 Service Rescheduling

Both parties may request to reschedule at least 24 hours before the service date, subject to availability.

7. Payment Terms

• Payment is due at the time of booking
• We accept secure payment through Paystack
• Prices are quoted in Nigerian Naira (₦)
• All prices include applicable taxes
• Refunds for cancelled services will be processed within 5-7 business days
• We reserve the right to adjust prices with 30 days notice

8. Service Quality & Guarantees

We are committed to providing high-quality cleaning services. If you are not satisfied with the work:

• Report issues within 24 hours of service completion
• Provide photographic evidence if applicable
• We will arrange a re-clean at no additional cost
• Full refunds are available for major service failures

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Cleaniche is not liable for damage to property caused by pre-existing conditions
• We are not responsible for theft or loss of personal items during service
• Our liability is limited to the cost of the booking
• We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages
• Users are responsible for securing valuables before service

10. Property Access & Security

By booking, you grant custodians access to your property during the scheduled service window. You are responsible for:

• Securing valuables and personal items
• Providing safe access (keys, access codes, etc.)
• Ensuring the property is safe for work
• Informing us of any hazards (pets, sharp objects, etc.)

11. Privacy & Confidentiality

Both users and custodians must respect each other's privacy. Custodians may not:

• Share information about your property or habits
• Take photographs without permission
• Access personal items or documents
• Discuss details with unauthorized parties

12. Dispute Resolution

If disputes arise:

1. Contact Cleaniche support within 7 days of the issue
2. Provide detailed description and evidence
3. We will investigate and attempt mediation
4. Unresolved disputes may be escalated to legal proceedings

13. Prohibited Conduct

Users and custodians must not:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse each other
• Misrepresent credentials or qualifications
• Engage in illegal activities
• Violate third-party intellectual property rights
• Attempt to bypass our payment system
• Post false reviews or ratings
• Circumvent Cleaniche to conduct business

14. Account Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for:

• Violation of these terms
• Harassment or abusive behavior
• Payment fraud
• Repeated service complaints
• Inactivity for extended periods

15. Modifications to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated terms. We will notify users of material changes via email.

16. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
